Too cool. I’m still a little obsessed with Violet’s nursery. I bought this hanging light, and I’m thinking it will look great over a child-size task table and chairs.

Dear Violet Today you turn 3 months old, and our unlimited time together is nearly up. These last three months have been the most challenging of my life. The strain has been immense on my already fragile mental health.

I can’t stop myself. I saw these turtles online and nearly threw up from the cuteness.

My brother left today for a 7 month tour in Iraq. We don’t see him often enough anyway, but now it feels like he’s worlds away. While we are nervous, worried, wishing he wasn’t going, we are also intensely proud of him. So many personal sacrifices for the protection of America and all of us. [...]

The past three months have been a never ending cycle of eat cry sleep cry play cry. Not too exciting, but relatively brainless and easy to manage.
