Public Service Announcement (ehhm, Nathan?)
posted by emily
From the Washington Post … “Personal records for every Navy and Marine Corps aviator or aircrew member who has logged flight hours in the past 20 years have been posted on a public Navy Web site for the past six months, compromising more than 100,000 Social Security numbers, the Navy Safety Center announced yesterday.”
I’m sure you have already been notified if your information was among that compromised and what you should do about it, but if not … when the University of Utah ‘misplaced’ mine I put a hold on all new accounts for three months and had the three big credit reporting services notify me if there were any inquiries. You should do the same.

First I’ve heard about this one. Thanks for the heads up.
